A Grayville man with a lengthy list of recent charges is back in custody following multiple 911 hangup calls on Christmas Eve.

Grayville Police arrested 43-year-old Tyrel Linder just before 6:30 p.m. at a residence where the occupant had an active order of protection against him. Officers located Linder inside the home and took him into custody after a brief struggle.

Linder has been in the news since August, when he was charged with six counts of Aggravated Animal Cruelty for allegedly killing six puppies by sealing them inside a cooler.

Earlier this month, Linder allegedly missed a court date, stole a truck, and crashed it. Authorities also report he fled custody by jumping out of an ambulance while being transported for medical care.

Online court records show Linder was scheduled to appear Monday morning in White County Circuit Court before Judge T. Scott Webb on December charges, including Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Driving Without a License, Operating a Vehicle with Suspended Registration, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident, and Improper Lane Usage.
