Wayne County Crimestoppers is offering rewards for information related to two separate incidents of vandalism and theft reported in the county.
Authorities say two tires belonging to James Burge of Wayne City were intentionally damaged after being stabbed with an unknown object. Investigators are seeking information that could help identify the person or persons responsible.
In a separate case, Shawn Maxham of Fairfield reported that a 125cc Plowerplex motor was stolen from his front porch sometime within the past week.
Anyone with information about either incident is encouraged to call or text Wayne County Crimestoppers at 618-842-9777. Tips may be submitted anonymously, and a reward is being offered for information that leads to arrests and or recovery of stolen property.
