He says talking about a new Bears stadium is “insensitive to what real people are going through right now.” The Bears announced last month that they are expanding their search for a new stadium to include Northwest Indiana after state leadership told them the stadium project won’t be a priority in 2026.

(Springfield, IL) — Illinois’ unemployment rate remains steady. The state Department of Employment Security says the state’s jobless rate in November was unchanged at four-point-four-percent. Non-farm payroll jobs were down 97-hundred last month.
