Registration is now open for in-person pesticide license testing sessions offered through the Illinois Department of Agriculture in partnership with Illinois Extension. The sessions are for individuals seeking to obtain or renew a commercial, private, or special pesticide applicator/operator license.

Testing is free and will be offered in Edwards, Richland, and Wayne counties from December through March. Participants must bring photo ID, a pencil, and a calculator—phone calculators are not allowed. Registration is required, and early sign-up is encouraged due to limited seating.

Local testing dates include:
Wayne County Extension Office, Fairfield: February 6th & March 19th
Edwards County Farm Bureau, Albion: January 15th & Febuary 20th
Richland County Extension Office, Olney: January 23rd & March 13th

Each session runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

To register, visit agr.illinois.gov/pesticides/in-person-testing or contact your local Extension office. Additional information, study materials, and online testing options are available at extension.illinois.edu/psep.
