The Johnsonville Ruritans are inviting the community to “Beat Those Winter Time Blues” with a special Brisket Meal featuring The Ice Cream Shop & Pops Pit Bar-B-Que. The event will take place on Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Johnsonville Ruritan Building.
The meal includes brisket, cheesy taters, green beans, rolls, and dessert, with sweet treats provided by some of the best dessert makers around. The cost is $25 per meal.
Tickets can be purchased or reserved by tomorrow (January 14th). They are available at Jackie’s Hidden Treasures or by calling or texting 618-919-0792 or 618-919-1420. Attendees who purchase tickets before tomorrow will be entered to win a Lifetime 55 qt cooler and some side prizes.
In addition, $5.00 of every meal sold will be donated to the Johnsonville Ruritans, supporting their ongoing community efforts
