NEW HOPE SCHOOL BOARD TO ADDRESS GRADUATION DATE,OTHER ITEMS AT JANUARY 20TH MEETING

The New Hope Community Consolidated School District (CCSD) Board of Education is set to hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, January 20th at 6:00 p.m. The agenda includes several important topics for discussion and action by the board.

The meeting will open with the approval of minutes from recent meetings, including the December 16, 2025 tax levy hearing and regular meeting, as well as the special meeting held on January 2nd. Financial matters, such as the treasurer’s report and payment of bills, will also be reviewed.

Community members will have an opportunity to speak during the meeting, and reports from various committees and the superintendent are scheduled. Topics in these reports include a recent FOIA request, an update on district revenues and expenditures, completion of the HVAC project, and recognition of the girls basketball team. Board members will also discuss an upcoming benefit concert.
Under new business, the board plans to consider motions to set the 2026 graduation date, reinvest a certificate of deposit, and approve the fiscal year 2027 school calendar. The resignation of Diana Romero from her role as paraprofessional is also on the agenda for acceptance.

An executive session is scheduled for the board to conduct the superintendent’s evaluation, other personnel evaluations, discuss a specific student matter, and consider real estate issues. The meeting will conclude with the right to revert to prior order and adjournment.
