Firefighters responded to a garage fire Saturday afternoon just after 2:30 p.m. at the Andrew Yoder residence at 1679 County Highway 7 near Geff.
The Fairfield Rural Fire Department and Fairfield City Fire Department were dispatched to the scene, along with Wayne County Ambulance. Propane tanks were reported nearby, adding to the hazard for responders.
Fairfield Rural Fire Chief, David Vaughan said the cause of the fire is unknown. No injuries were reported.
