North Wayne Community Unit School District #200 will conduct its regular board meeting on Wednesday, January 21st, at 6 p.m. at Cisne Middle School.

The meeting will open with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by roll call and approval of the consent agenda, which includes minutes from the December 17, 2025 meeting, personal leave and dock day requests, the resignation of Lauren Grace Conard as CMS Assistant Softball Coach, and acceptance of a $2,500 anonymous donation to the Cisne High School FFA.

Financial reports on the agenda include the approval of bills, the treasurer’s report, and an income review. The board will also hear communications, visitor comments, and a superintendent’s report.

No committee meetings are scheduled. Updates will be given on the School Maintenance Grant and the district calendar, and the board will discuss an agreement with Garaventa Lift Company to replace the platform lift at Cisne High School. Under new business, the board will consider action on an overnight FFA trip to the Ground Zero Conference at SIUC in Carbondale, scheduled for January 30th and 31st. An executive session may be held to discuss personnel matters, student discipline, litigation, collective bargaining, and property issues. Specific topics include the CMS Physical Education and Health Teacher position, the CHS Volunteer Assistant Softball Coach position, and other current or anticipated vacancies.

Any action resulting from the executive session will be taken before adjournment.
