The 65th Annual Miss Illinois County Fair Queen Pageant was held this weekend in Springfield. Krista Phillips of the Effingham County Fair was crowned the new Miss Illinois County Fair Queen.
Riley McDermott of the Monroe County Fair was named first runner-up, Bella Evans of the Morgan County Fair was second runner-up, Ruby Mulvaney of the Ogle County Fair was third runner-up, and Laney York of the White County Fair was fourth runner-up.
The People’s Choice Award went to Maggie Wankel of the Menard County Fair.
Kadence Smith of Cisne advanced to the Top 16. Smith is the first-ever Miss Wayne County Fair. A total of 75 reigning county fair queens competed. Edwards County Fair Queen, Alice Robb also participated in this weekends pageant.
