COVER CROP COFFEE SHOP BRINGS COMMUNITY TOGETHER FOR BREAKFAST AND CONSERVATION

Farmers and community members are invited to the Cover Crop Coffee Shop, happening Wednesday, February 18th from 8 a.m. to noon at the House of Prayer, located at 230 North 5th Street in Albion, Illinois.

Breakfast will be served by The Smokin Pig, and a lineup of guest speakers is scheduled, including Meteorologist Jim Rasor, Burn Control Specialist Caleb Crawford, Nurse Practitioner from Fairfield Memorial Hospital Sherry Mewes and Debbie Gray from the Illinois Department of Agriculture.

The event is hosted by the Edwards and Wayne County Soil and Water Conservation District, and will feature huge giveaways for those attending. The event is sponsored by the Edwards County Farm Bureau and Citizens National Bank of Albion with the breakfast sponsored by the Fairfield National Bank.
