Several individuals appeared in Wayne County Circuit Court Thursday before Judge, Matt Vaughn.
Feleishaa A.J. McKinney, 35, of Princeton, Indiana, pled guilty to Criminal Trespass to Real Property and was placed on one year of court supervision with court costs. She was ordered to stay away from the victim’s property.
Robert Scarbrough, 52, of Sims, pled guilty to Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Peace Officer. He received one year of court supervision and court costs. Two counts in the case were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.

Reggie Shemwell, 49, of Fairfield, admitted to violating a previous 24-month probation order on an original charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine from September 2023. He was sentenced to ten years in the Illinois Department of Corrections with credit for 324 days served in the Wayne County Jail. Shemwell also pled guilty to Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine (April 2025 case) and received a seven-year sentence, totaling 17 years in the Illinois DOC.
Joshua R. Wilson Sr., 37, of Fairfield, pled guilty to Possession of a Firearm Without a Firearm Owner’s ID Card. He was sentenced to one year of conditional discharge and court costs; one count was dismissed per plea agreement.

Christopher Young, 43, of Fairfield, admitted to violating probation on an original charge of Unlawful Possession With Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine. He was sentenced to three years in the Illinois DOC with court costs and received credit for 179 days served. One case was dismissed as part of the sentencing agreement.

Mitchell Leas, 26, of Keenes, admitted to violating probation on a burglary charge. He was re-sentenced to two years of probation with court costs. Leas also received a stayed sentence of 120 days in the Wayne County Jail if probation is violated. One case number was dismissed per plea agreement.
