A benefit fish fry will be held on Saturday, February 28th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Johnsonville Ruritan Building, with proceeds going toward the Union Grove Camp building fund.
The menu includes your choice of fish or barbecue, hashbrown casserole, baked beans, coleslaw, dessert, and a drink. Cost is $14 per person.
This event is being held in memory of Danny Barrett, formerly of Fairfield. Danny attended Union Grove Camp as a child, later served on the camp board, and played a key role in constructing the first dorm, which was replaced in 2021. The benefit aims to honor Danny’s legacy and help fund the construction of the camp’s third dorm building.
