The Flora Rotary Club is gearing up for its 1st Annual Dodgeball Tournament, set to take place on Saturday, March 14th at Flora High School. The event kicks off at 9:00 a.m. and promises a day of fun, friendly competition, and community spirit, all in support of local improvement projects.
The tournament will feature three co-ed divisions, welcoming participants of all skill levels. Organizers encourage groups to sign up together, noting that teams can move up divisions to stay together. Registration costs $100 per team, with up to 10 players per team ($10 per person). Individuals without a team can also join for $10 and will be assigned to a team at the beginning of the event.
Spectators are welcome, with general admission set at $2. All attendees will be automatically entered into a door prize drawing.
All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Flora Rotary Club’s building projects at the Flora Pickleball Court and Flora Parks, supporting ongoing efforts to enhance local recreational spaces.
Teams and individuals can register through the Facebook event page, “1st Annual Flora Rotary Dodgeball Tournament.” For more information, interested parties can contact Brenda Miller at blmm1992@gmail.com or call 618-843-6803.
