WAYNE COUNTY SHERIFF ANNOUNCES MULTIPLE ARRESTS IN METHAMPHETAMINE DISTRIBUTION INVESTIGATION

Wayne County Sheriff, Chris Otey reports that the Sheriff’s Department has wrapped up a months-long investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine in Wayne County. The extensive operation resulted in numerous cases being generated, with warrants requested and granted for multiple individuals. To date, six subjects have been taken into custody for warrants related to Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine, with some facing additional charges following their arrest.

Arrests and Charges Announced:

Judy Head (67), Sims, IL
Warrant: Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine
Additional Findings: Approximately 175 grams of methamphetamine located during arrest

New Charges:
Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine (Intent)
Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine

Jace Waldrop (27), Mill Shoals, IL
Warrant: Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine
Additional Findings: 25 controlled substance pills and approximately 6 grams of methamphetamine

New Charges:
Possession of Methamphetamine

Jerri Ewing (50), Carmi, IL
Warrant: Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine
Additional Findings: Digital scales and approximately 11 grams of methamphetamine

Jamie Vaughan (53), Fairfield, IL
Warrant: Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine

 

Nicole Parker
Warrant: Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine

Kyle Hicks (37), Albion, IL
Warrant: Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine
Additional Findings: Approximately 43 grams of methamphetamine

Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine (Intent)

 

Sheriff Otey commended the efforts of the deputies involved in the lengthy investigation and emphasized the department’s ongoing commitment to tackling illegal drug activity in Wayne County. All arrested individuals were transported and lodged in the Wayne County Jail pending court appearances. Additional arrests and charges may be forthcoming as the investigation continues.
