A two vehicle wreck on the south side of Salem, IL Friday morning injured two people.
According to the Salem Police Department, 57 year old Susan Boerner of Camby, Indiana was westbound on Kell Street in Salem and crossed South Broadway in front of a southbound vehicle, driven by 76 year old Grace Monical of Cisne.
Monical and Boerner were both taken to Salem Township Hospital following the accident with fairly minor injuries. A passenger in Boerner’s vehicle, 58 year old James Saatkamp of Centralia, IL was not injured. The crash was reported just after 10 a.m. Friday.
