The Wayne County Board will hold its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, February 12th at 7:00 p.m. in the upstairs courtroom of the Wayne County Courthouse.
The agenda includes the call to order with prayer, pledge, and roll call, followed by approval of the January meeting minutes. Public comment and guest presentations will feature Kevin Kern of Snedeker/Hope Trust.
Chairman’s comments and appointments will be addressed before moving into old business and a series of office reports. Highlights from the reports include several key highway department resolutions, construction and engineering agreements for county highway projects, and sealed bid resolutions from the county clerk. Updates will also be provided by the state’s attorney, circuit clerk, sheriff, treasurer, supervisor of assessments, coroner, and health department.
New business will cover any matters related to ARPA funds, if applicable.
Committee reports are scheduled from the following committees: Claims/Finance (including payment of bills), Sheriff, Emergency Management Agency (EMA), Animal Control/Welfare, Road & Bridge, Insurance/Education, Building & Grounds/Safety, Economic Development, Rules & Policy, and the Liquor Commission.
The meeting will conclude with any additional business and adjournment and is open to the public.
