Radio broadcast coverage of Fairfield Mules football is returning to WFIW-FM, 104.9 this fall bringing Friday night game action to listeners for the 2026 season.
The WFIW-FM broadcast team, which will be revealed late spring/early summer will be providing full game coverage, including play-by-play and coach interviews. Fans can tune in each Friday night throughout the season. Also, ALL home games will be video-streamed on our website, wfiwradio.com with high resolution graphics plus a live on screen scoreboard with video replay. The first games in Illinois are tentatively scheduled for the weekend of August 20th through the 22nd as the Illinois High School Association moved the start date one week earlier to accommodate an expanded playoff system as the IHSA has eliminated the traditional week zero scrimmage. More information will be released later as the 2026 season approaches.
