The 2026 Blackout Cancer Game will take place Friday, February 13th, at Hamilton County High School as the Foxes host the Carmi-White County Bulldogs. The evening will honor all cancer survivors, with a special Survivor Lap held between the JV and Varsity games. Survivors are invited to meet in the Commons with three minutes left in the JV game for their lap of honor around the gym.
The event will also feature a raffle basket display, survivor registration, and Relay For Life information in the Commons. Organizers encourage everyone to wear Blackout Cancer or survivor shirts to show their support.
Relay For Life chair Janice Crow says this event helps kick off the 2026 Relay season. The Hamilton/Wayne/White County Relay For Life will be held June 13th at the Carlton Center in McLeansboro.
