The Albion Area Chamber of Commerce is stepping up to support the local community during a challenging time by organizing a special Job Fair event on Wednesday, March 4th from 10am to 4pm at the Country Financial Hall on the Edwards County Fairgrounds. In an ongoing effort to connect residents with employment opportunities and vital resources, the Chamber has reached out to dozens of employers, inviting them to participate in the event. Organizers have announced that updates will be provided periodically as the event date approaches.
Several businesses have already confirmed their attendance, including Toyota, Walmart DC, WADI/WAOI, Diversity Vuteq, Forvia Hella (Flora), StaffQuick (Flora), and Addus Home Care. Their participation is expected to offer a variety of job opportunities and support services for local residents.
“The response from area employers has been encouraging, and we are grateful for their willingness to support our community,” stated a spokesperson for the Albion Area Chamber of Commerce. “We are committed to doing everything we can to connect people with the resources they need.”
More employers are expected to join the event and the initiative aims to provide hope and tangible assistance to those affected by current economic challenges with the closing of Champion Labs in Albion.
For the latest information and a full list of participating businesses, community members are encouraged to follow updates from the Albion Area Chamber of Commerce.
