Just after 4 a.m. on Saturday, Carmi Police conducted a traffic stop on Highway 14 at Industrial Drive resulting in the arrest of two local men on cannabis-related charges. Authorities report that 19-year-old Evan Bare of Mill Shoals and 22-year-old Gage Bittles of Sims were both taken into custody on charges of Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle by Driver/Passenger.
After being booked at the Carmi Police Department, both men were released with Notice to Appear citations. They are scheduled to appear in court on March 24th.
