Kon Knueppel chipped in 28 points in a game where he set the rookie three-point season record. The Hornets third straight victory has them sitting at 29-and-31. Andrew Nembhard paced Indiana with 20 points in the setback. The Pacers have lost five in-a-row to drop to 15-and-45.

The Chicago Bulls are on an 11-game losing streak following a 121-112 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers at United Center. The Bulls trailed by as many as 15 points in the second half. Matas Buzelis scored 20 points in the losing effort, while Tre Jones chipped in with 19 off the bench. Chicago is in 12th place in the Eastern Conference at 24-and-36. The trade will not be processed until the start of the league year on March 11th. Johnson was selected by the Jets with the 26th overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft. Sweat was taken with the 38th pick in the 2024 draft.

(Indianapolis, IN) — A former first round pick has likely played his final snap with the Colts. According to ESPN, the Colts have given quarterback Anthony Richardson permission to seek a trade. Richardson was selected with the fourth overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft, but lost a preseason position battle with veteran Daniel Jones before last season. Indianapolis has intentions of signing Jones, who is a free agent, to a long-term contract.

(Austin, TX) — Texas quarterback Arch Manning is continuing his recovery from offseason foot surgery. The Longhorns’ signal caller is out of his protective boot but will remain limited this spring after undergoing a minor procedure in January. Head coach Steve Sarkisian noted that the team wants to make sure Manning is 100-percent healthy before he begins to fully participate. The rising redshirt junior passed for 3,163 yards, 26 touchdowns and seven interceptions last season. He also rushed for 399 yards and 10 TDs.

(Corvallis, OR) — Oregon State will be on the search for a new head men’s basketball coach following the season. The university announced that Wayne Tinkle will not return to the sidelines next season. The Beavers have asked Tinkle to finish the season and he is expected to make a decision on that soon. The longtime coach is in his 12th season leading the program, which included two NCAA tournament appearances and a run to the Elite Eight in 2021. The Beavers are 16-and-14 overall heading into their regular season finale on the road against Santa Clara on Saturday.
