Billie-Jo “BJ” Townsend, a candidate for Wayne County Clerk, is inviting community members to a Meet & Greet event as she campaigns for the upcoming primary election on March 17th. Townsend, who is running as a Republican, currently serves as Deputy County Clerk in Wayne County.
The event will take place on Sunday, March 15th from 2 pm to 4 pm at The Chop Shop, 400 W. Main St. in Fairfield. Those attending will have the opportunity to meet Townsend, learn about her campaign platform, and enjoy giveaways, finger foods, and beverages. Townsend is seeking support from local voters as she aims to step into the role of County Clerk.
