Baseball fans will have the unique opportunity to meet former Major League pitcher and 1986 World Series champion Dwight Bernard at the Roland Lewis Building in Mount Vernon tomorrow (Saturday). Bernard will be signing free autographs from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. as part of a trading card show hosted by King City Sports Cards.

Complimentary photos of Bernard will be available while supplies last, courtesy of Peoples National Bank. The event promises even more for collectors and enthusiasts, with the card show running from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Lewis Community Building on South 27th Street.

Drafted in the second round of the 1974 MLB amateur draft, Bernard pitched four seasons in the majors with the Milwaukee Brewers and New York Mets. After his playing days, he continued his baseball journey as a coach with both the Minnesota Twins and San Francisco Giants organizations.
