A benefit Spaghetti Supper for Donnie Simpson will be held tomorrow (Saturday) at 5:00 PM at the Johnsonville Ruritan Building. The meal will be served by donation and will feature spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, dessert, and a drink. Guests will also have the chance to participate in a 50/50 raffle.
Donnie Simpson recently suffered a serious oil field accident in January, resulting in head trauma and a lengthy recovery. He is unable to work as he undergoes treatment and therapy. With his recovery preventing him from returning to work, the loss of income has created additional financial challenges for Donnie and his family.
The community is invited to attend the benefit supper to show their support and help ease the burden faced by the Simpson family during this difficult time. All funds raised will go directly to Donnie and his family to help cover everyday expenses while he concentrates on healing.
