Ford is recalling over one million vehicles due to problems with rearview cameras, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Officials say two separate camera issues have been identified as safety concerns.

One recall notice states that certain Ford Bronco and Edge vehicles may experience rearview cameras that fail to display an image when the vehicle is in reverse. A second notice involves Ford Escape and Explorer models, as well as Lincoln Corsair and Aviator vehicles, where the rearview cameras may show an inverted image.

Ford will notify affected vehicle owners by mail, providing instructions on how to schedule a free repair to address the camera issues.
