The Wayne County Retired Teachers Association is pleased to announce a $500 scholarship for the 2026-2027 school year to students in Wayne County pursuing a career in education.
This scholarship is open to graduates of any Wayne County high school who have declared a major in education and completed at least 80 semester hours toward their degree at an accredited college or university.
Application forms, which include details about qualifications and submission instructions, are available from Sharon Maguire. Applications must be postmarked or emailed by June 15th to be considered. Candidates may submit their applications by mail or electronically.
The scholarship recipient will be invited to attend the August meeting of the Wayne County Retired Teachers Association, where the award will be presented.
