The New Hope Community Consolidated School District #6 Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting this Wednesday, March 18th at 7:00 p.m. The agenda includes key staffing decisions, approval of the amended school calendar, and updates on building maintenance.

Highlights from the superintendent’s report include successes from Family Reading Night, progress in kindergarten registration, ongoing maintenance and building updates, and information on the Brain Games program.

Under new business, the board is set to vote on the amended FY 2026 calendar, accept LP gas bids for the 2026-2027 school year, and address several personnel matters. These include motions to rehire Britany Pope as superintendent for FY 2027, grant tenure to Sara Wise, and rehire staff members Hillary Goodman, Shelby Livesay, and Gillian Wilson for the next school year. The board will also consider accepting the resignation of Carrie Rapp, advertising for a new teacher, and rehiring or advertising for coaching positions.

An executive session will be held to discuss negotiations, personnel performance and hiring, employment, compensation, and dismissal before the meeting adjourns. The meeting is open to the public.
