By Mark Wells Mar 18, 2026 | 11:57 AM

The National Weather Service reports that significantly warmer-than-normal temperatures will arrive in our region starting tomorrow (Thursday) with highs reaching the 70s. The warm spell continues into the weekend, with some areas expected to see highs in the low 80s on Saturday and Sunday—well above the seasonal average.

A strong cold front will move through late Sunday, bringing temperatures back to more typical levels for this time of year. Highs will drop to the low 50s and 60s on Monday, with some northern areas possibly remaining in the 40s, leading to a much cooler start to next week. The front is expected to pass mostly dry.
