The City of Fairfield Water Department has issued a boil order for residents on the south side of Main Street and the north side of Delaware, stretching from Clarence Avenue to Airport Road.
All residents and businesses in the designated areas are instructed to boil water for at least one minute before using it for drinking, food preparation, making ice, or any other form of human consumption. The order will remain in effect until water samples can be tested and determined to meet safety standards.
