KNOX COUNTY, INDIANA MAN ARRESTED IN GRAYVILLE AFTER RECKLESS DRIVING REPORT LEADS TO MULTIPLE CHARGES

A Knox County, Indiana man is in custody in White County, Illinois following a Tuesday afternoon arrest by Grayville Police. The incident began just after 4:30 p.m. when officers responded to reports of a potential reckless driver near Gillard’s Hardware.

Upon arrival, a Grayville officer made contact with 27-year-old Dillon Marshall of Monroe City, Indiana. An investigation revealed Marshall was driving on a suspended license and had outstanding warrants for his arrest and extradition. Marshall attempted to flee the scene on foot but was apprehended by police.

A search following his arrest uncovered what authorities believe to be methamphetamine and a set of brass knuckles in his possession.

Marshall appeared in White County court on Wednesday and is now facing several charges, including Felon in Possession of a Weapon, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Resisting Arrest. Additionally, he is wanted in Indiana on multiple warrants, including Failure to Appear out of Knox County and Violation of Probation out of Daviess County, which is connected to a Petition to Revoke Suspended Sentence on a theft offense.

According to court records, Marshall waived his right to an attorney and was assigned a preliminary hearing date of April 8th. He is expected to be extradited back to Indiana to answer for the outstanding warrants in his home state.
