Wayne County Farm Bureau Announces 2026 Community Impact Grant Recipients

The Wayne County Farm Bureau has announced the recipients of its 2026 Community Impact Grants, awarding a total of $9,000 to seven local organizations for projects that aim to make a lasting difference in the community.
This year, the Farm Bureau received fifteen applications requesting a combined total of $32,588 in funding. After a careful review process, grants were awarded to the following organizations:
  • Sharing Shack for “Stock the Shelves” – $500
  • Feed My Sheep Soup Kitchen for “Building Renovations” – $4,500
  • 41st Ministries for “Back to School Giveaway” – $1,500
  • Johnsonville Ruritan Club for “Building Updates” – $1,375
  • Village of Mount Erie for “Handicap Accessible Signs” – $125
  • Wayne County Enrichment for the “32nd Annual Family Literacy Fest” – $500
  • Western Wayne Little League for “Equipment for Summer Little League” – $500
The Community Impact Grant Program, now in its thirteenth year, was established to support local groups and individuals in projects that have a long-term impact on Wayne County. Since 2014, nearly $80,000 in grants have been distributed through the program.
