Frontier Community College has named Josh French and Harper Holeman as Bobcats of the Week after standout performances in recent action.
French, a standout on the baseball team, helped Frontier sweep Southeastern Illinois College in a doubleheader, securing two Region 24 victories. In Game 1, he contributed to a 20-run outburst with multiple hits and RBIs. In Game 2, French delivered a key moment with a two-run homer in the third inning, finishing with three RBIs to spark a comeback and help Frontier overcome an early deficit.
Holeman, a freshman infielder for the softball team, led Frontier’s offense during the week of March 16–22, batting .360 with two doubles and six home runs while driving in 14 runs. She tallied eight runs scored and added a stolen base, earning NJCAA Region 24 Player of the Week honors and becoming just the second Bobcats Softball player to receive the award, joining Samantha Finn (2017).
Frontier Athletics congratulates both players on their well-deserved recognition. For more information, visit fccbobcats.com.
