On Friday, the Fairfield Mules and Lady Mules competed at the Illinois Indoor Top Times Meet at Illinois Wesleyan University. Notable individual performances for the Mules were: Cayson Webb – 14th in the High Jump and Justin Johnson – 11th in the Triple Jump.
HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS WRESTLING:
On Thursday, the Southern Illinois Coaches Association announced their All-South Girls Wrestling Team. Fairfield Junior Remi Taylor, was named to the team in the 105 lb. class.
HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL:
Also on Thursday, the Southern Illinois Coaches Association announced their All-South Girls Basketball teams. In Class 2A, Fairfield Senior Riley Jolly and Carmi’s Caroline Simmons were both named to the team. In Class 1A, Edwards County’s Grace Bishop and Lola Nussmeyer were named to the team and Edwards County Coach Jonathan Henton was named Coach of the Year.
