The Cisne FFA chapter achieved an impressive second place finish at the District 5 Varsity Parliamentary Procedure Leadership Development Event, held March 26th at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Team members Allison Shannon, Esme Krupp, Kadence Hyder, Aidyn Dickey, Mikkie Hearle, and Kenzie Alvis demonstrated exceptional parliamentary skills, earning them a spot at the upcoming state competition. Several Cisne FFA members also received individual honors. Kenzie Alvis was recognized as 2nd place Chairman (tied for first), while Allison Shannon claimed 1st place Overall Floor Member and Esme Krupp took 2nd place in the same category.

The team will now advance to the state competition, set to take place in May at Illinois Central College in Peoria. The Cisne FFA chapter looks forward to representing their district and showcasing their leadership abilities on the state stage.
In addition, the Cisne FFA chapter secured fourth place at the District 5 Conduct of Chapter Meetings Leadership Development Event, held March 19th also at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. The team, comprised of Lester Jordan, Reese Beckel, Kloyee Dagg, Rylee Dillon (front row, left to right), and Lillian McCarthy, Peyton Cordill, and Bryli Flexter (back row), demonstrated strong leadership and teamwork throughout the competition.

Individual honors were also awarded, with Rylee Dillon earning third place in the Chair category for outstanding performance in leading chapter meeting procedures.
The Cisne FFA chapter continues to build upon its tradition of excellence and leadership in FFA events across the region.
