Levada “Lee” (Booth) Allen, age 90, of Frankfort, KY, a woman of remarkable strength and unwavering love, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026 in Midway, KY. Born on June 20, 1935, in Sharp County, Arkansas, Lee lived a life defined by resilience, compassion and quiet determination. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and guiding light to those fortunate enough to know her. For many, she was more than family. She was a source of comfort, wisdom and unconditional love.
Lee was known for her strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit, building a life that reflected both independence and generosity. She carried herself with dignity and warmth, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Her home was always a place of welcome, where love was felt deeply and memories were made. Above all, Lee cherished her family. She took great pride in raising and nurturing those she loved, offering steady support, guidance and encouragement throughout their lives. Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled. Kindness, perseverance and strength.
She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Max Allen; her siblings: Johnny and Glenna; her two sons: Mike and Marc Stone of Frankfort, KY; two stepchildren: Lisa Allen of Mt. Vernon IL and Jeff Allen of Colorado; five grandchildren: Ryann, Zane, Tony, Nick and Lora; two step grandchildren: Hunter and Parker Creel; two great grandchildren: Alayna and Dexter; and many nieces and nephews and extended family who will forever carry their memories in their hearts.
In addition to her parents Alvin and Lora Booth, she is preceded in death by her siblings LaDonna, Cecil, Yolanda, Lewis, Atha Jane, Maxine and Earnestine Booth.
Though she is no longer with us, Lee’s spirit remains in the lives she touched and the love she gave so freely. She will deeply missed and forever remembered.
Services for Levada “Lee” (Booth) Allen will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home in Frankfort, KY on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Tony Booth officiating. Visitation will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2026 at Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City, IL with Rev. Tony Booth officiating. Interment will follow the graveside service in Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City. Gholson Funeral Home of McLeansboro is assisting the family with local arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lee’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
