Tre Jones scored 23 points in the contest, while Leonard Miller finished with 21 off the bench. Chicago is in 12th place in the Eastern Conference at 29-and-46. The Bulls host the Pacers tomorrow night. Jaden Ivey is out of a job after making homophobic comments on Instagram live. The Bulls waived the guard yesterday after he posted a video that claimed the NBA’s celebration of Pride Month was a celebration of unrighteousness. The 2022 draft pick was acquired in a trade with Detroit last month. He averaged 11-and-a-half points per game in four appearances with the team.

Tulsa is taking on New Mexico and is followed by Auburn against Illinois State. The NIT championship game is scheduled for Sunday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Final Four of the NCAA tournament tips off from Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday. UConn plays Illinois and Arizona faces Michigan. The national championship game is on Monday.

(Undated) — The Final Four of the NCAA women’s basketball tournament will be a battle of number one seeds. Texas took down Michigan 77-41 to advance to its second straight Final Four. Madison Booker led the Longhorns with 19 points. In Monday’s other Elite Eight matchup, South Carolina took down TCU 78-52 in Sacramento. Joyce Edwards had 24 points and 12 rebounds for the Gamecocks. The Final Four will be played Friday in Phoenix, with UConn taking on South Carolina and Texas facing off with UCLA.

(Phoenix, AZ) — The NFL’s annual league meeting is being held this week in Phoenix. The Browns withdrew their rule change proposal yesterday that would have allowed teams to trade draft picks up to five years in advance. Rams head coach Sean McVay had said earlier in the day that the rule had a “zero-percent chance” to go through. McVay also said that his team considered to trade star receiver Davante Adams before opting against it, and that they are considering adding Kirk Cousins as a backup quarterback. In other top news, 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said that the team is still looking to trade wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, while new Giants coach John Harbaugh noted that a reunion with wideout Odell Beckham Jr. is an option for the team.

(Phoenix, AZ) — The Rams explored moving on from one of their top playmakers earlier this offseason. Los Angeles coach Sean McVay spoke at the league meetings Monday and acknowledged that the team considered trading wide receiver Davante Adams but ultimately decided against the move. McVay said that he has discussed the rumors with Adams and that he believes the receiver understood why they took place. The 33-year-old totaled 60 catches for 789 yards and 14 touchdowns in 14 games played last season.

(Cleveland, OH) — The Browns are happy to leave the door open for a troubled veteran. Owner Jimmy Haslam told the media on Monday that Deshaun Watson has a “great chance” to become the team’s starting quarterback next season. He referenced changes under new head coach Todd Monken which could give the 30-year-old a fresh start. Watson has played in just 19 games over the past five years due to injury or suspension.

Harbaugh confirmed that he has maintained a relationship with OBJ, whom the Giants selected with the 12th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.

In February 2024, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in Super Bowl 58.

The Comets were one of the league’s original franchises and disbanded after the 2008 season.
