The Wayne County Highway Department has announced the closure of a portion of County Highway 1, also known as Enterprise Road, just north of its intersection with County Highway 2 (Extension 161).
The closure is in place to allow for construction work aimed at safety improvements on the north side of the intersection. Officials noted that County Highway 2 (Extension 161) will remain open to traffic during the project.
