The City of Grayville will begin draining its water tower starting today (Monday) to allow for scheduled maintenance and cleaning of the tower’s interior. The changeover is expected to cause little to no disruption of service for residents and businesses.
A maintenance crew is scheduled to arrive on Tuesday to perform the cleaning, which is anticipated to take approximately four hours. During this time, some reduction in water pressure may occur, but a full disruption of water service is not expected.
City officials emphasize that this maintenance is essential for keeping Grayville’s water infrastructure in good working order. They apologize for any inconvenience and thank the community for its understanding and cooperation during this routine process.
