Nola Jane (Henson) Loker, 90, of Wayne City, IL passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026 in LaBelle, FL. Nola was born on March 6, 1936 in Sims, IL to Lieuna & Clara (Barnard) Henson. On August 16, 1952 she married her high school sweetheart Dale Loker, who preceded her in death on April 14, 2019.
The world lost, but heaven gained, a strong, faithful, Jesus loving woman. What a comfort it is to know exactly where she is, whole, healed, and in the presence of her Savior.
Illinois may have been full of family and Nola’s home, but Florida also had her heart. Nola loved playing cards, dominoes, water aerobics and riding her 3 wheel bicycle up until her death. It was clear that God had placed her in a community that loved her deeply and she loved them.
Nola was a retired farmer and she was very active in the Keenes Christian Church, where she was a member and served as Treasurer for many years. She also loved quilting, and was a member of the Piecemakers Quilt Club in Wayne City for over 30 years. She loved her family very much and she will be missed by all who knew her.
Nola is survived by 5 children: Debra (Jeff) Klenke of Hixton, WI; Gene (Gwen) Loker of Hermitage, TN; Ron (Tonya) Loker of Wayne City, IL; Larry (Shannon) Loker of Wayne City, IL; and Jeff Loker of Sandoval, IL; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren on the way; her in-laws: Betty (Leroy) Shelton of Mt. Vernon, IL; Margie Loker of Keenes, IL; June (Terry) Bashore of Mt. Vernon, IL; and Kent (Patty) Loker of Wayne City, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lieuna & Clara Henson, her husband Dale Loker, and her siblings: Ivan Butcher, Art Henson, Betty Knauss.
