A McLeansboro man remains behind bars at the White County Jail in Carmi after being served a warrant from Franklin County while already incarcerated. On Monday morning, just after 10:30 a.m., a deputy served 44-year-old Ryan Nalley with the warrant, which stems from a January 15, 2025 case in Franklin County where Nalley faces two felony counts of theft.

Nalley failed to appear in court for the theft charges in February 2025, and subsequent attempts to serve a summons were unsuccessful. On March 5th, while in White County, Nalley was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.

Court records indicate that Nalley was jailed in Kentucky in June of last year and released in early August. Despite his release, Nalley failed to appear in White County court for the meth possession charge in both September and November.

Nalley was finally apprehended on April 2nd and is now awaiting his next court appearance in White County, scheduled for May 6th.
