Munetaka Murakami and Everson Pereira both homered in the losing effort, while Noah Schultz was charged with his first loss after allowing three earned runs and one unearned run on three hits in four-and-a-third innings. The Sox dropped to 6-and-11. They send Sean Burke to the mound against the Rays tonight.

Yohel Pozo hit a game-tying double in the bottom of the ninth before Nathan Church hit a walk-off sacrifice fly in the tenth. JJ Wetherholt homered twice in the victory, while Ivan Herrera also went deep. St. Louis improved to 9-and-8. Dustin May starts for the Cardinals against Cleveland this afternoon.
