ALBION CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ANNOUNCES INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION FOR NATION’S 250TH BIRTHDAY

The Albion Chamber of Commerce has unveiled plans for an Independence Day celebration in honor of the nation’s 250th birthday. The event will be held on Friday, July 3rd from 5 to 10 p.m., with an evening filled with music, patriotic displays, and a special Independence Day reenactment.

Festivities will kick off at 5 p.m. with a parade featuring Edwards County VFW flag bearers .  At 5:50 p.m., attendees can enjoy an Independence Day reenactment presented by Paul Collins and Judge Jerry Crisel, bringing history to life for the community.

From 6:15 to 6:45 p.m., a community choir will perform a selection of patriotic songs. The celebration will continue with a concert by Radio Days from 7 to 10 p.m., providing live music to cap off the evening.
