A special benefit event for Nancy Ellis will be held at the First Christian Church in Wayne City on Saturday. The benefit aims to support Nancy as she battles laryngeal cancer, a diagnosis she received in January. Nancy from Cisne, is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments in St. Louis five days a week.
The event will feature a dinner and silent auction beginning at 4 PM, with a menu including Randy Mason’s Famous Pork Chops, green beans, rolls, tea, lemonade, and a variety of homemade desserts.
Bingo games will start at 5 PM, with 10 games plus 3 games per card for $15. Extra blackout cards will be available for an additional $2 donation.
The community is encouraged to attend and show support for Nancy Ellis and her family. All proceeds and donations will go toward her travel and medical expenses. Organizers also welcome donations of items for the silent auction.
For those unable to attend, cash donations can be made using the QR code provided on event materials.
