Wayne City’s Miss Bean Queen, Ava Minor, is leading a heartfelt initiative to bring comfort and joy to children in the hospital by organizing a community toy drive. Inspired by her desire to help others, Ava planned the event with the support of her mother and has enlisted fellow royalty, Junior Miss Breanna Harrison and Little Miss Ellis Legg, to join the effort.
The toy drive aims to collect new toys and supplies that will be delivered to children during their hospital stays, providing them with comfort and smiles during difficult times.
Donations can be dropped off on Saturday, May 9th, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wayne City Park. For those unable to attend, alternative arrangements can be made by contacting Bean Queen Director Tesia (Tessa) Maxey at wcbeanqueen@gmail.com.
