The Fairfield Grade School District #112 Board of Education will gather for its regular monthly meeting tonight (Monday) at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will take place in the Center Street School Board Room, located at 200 W Center Street.
The agenda includes routine business such as the approval of minutes from the March 16th meeting, a review of financial reports, and updates from the Superintendent. The Superintendent’s report will cover topics such as revenue and expenses, food service, transportation, the district’s grant application, graduation plans, building updates, and a first reading of the PRESS Policy 121.
Board members will take action on the Consolidated District Grant Application and hear reports from the principals of Center Street School and North Side School. The meeting will also include time for board member requests and reports.
A closed session is scheduled to discuss personnel matters, labor relations, collective negotiations, litigation, public office vacancies, and student discipline, as permitted by state law. Following the closed session, the board will act on several personnel items, including resignations of coaches and staff, an intent to retire from a certified teacher, setting wages for non-contractual staff, officials’ rates, and administration salaries.
Citizens will have the opportunity to address non-agenda items at the beginning of the meeting. The board will conclude with informational items and adjournment.
