Shota Imanaga was charged with his second loss after allowing five runs on six hits in five-and-a-third innings. The Cubs fell to 17-and-11. They send Matthew Boyd to the mound against the Padres tonight.

(Orlando, FL) — The St. Louis Battlehawks are back above .500 following a 25-17 win over the Orlando Storm in Florida on Saturday. Harrison Frost passed for 185 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in the victory, and he added a TD on the ground. St. Louis improved to 3-and-2. The Battlehawks visit Louisville this Thursday.

(Pittsburgh, PA) — The 2026 NFL Draft has come to a close in Pittsburgh. The Las Vegas Raiders selected Heisman Trophy winner and National Champion quarterback Fernando Mendoza first overall out of Indiana. The Miami Dolphins made the most picks with 13, including two first-round picks. Ohio State saw the most players drafted with eleven, four of whom were taken in round one. This year’s Mr. Irrelevant, who is selected with the final pick in the draft, was linebacker Red Murdock picked by the Denver Broncos. The 2027 NFL Draft is set to take place in Washington, D.C.

(Pittsburgh, PA) — The Chicago Bears have finalized their 2026 draft class. The team selected Iowa center Logan Jones in the second round of the draft on Friday before taking Stanford tight end Sam Roush and LSU wide receiver Zavion Thomas in the third. Chicago rounded out the draft by selecting three more players on Saturday.

(Indianapolis, IN) — The Colts made eight picks during the 2026 NFL Draft. Indianapolis’ first pick came in the second round when it selected Georgia linebacker CJ Allen. Indy also took AJ Haulcy in the third round, Jalen Farmer and Bryce Boettcher in the fourth round, George Gumbs Jr. in the fifth, Caden Curry in the sixth, and Seth McGowan and Deion Burks in round seven.

(Undated) — A pair of teams in each conference grabbed Game Four victories in Sunday’s NBA playoff action. In the East, the Raptors knotted-up their series with the Cavaliers at two games apiece following a 93-89 win up north. The Celtics bashed the 76ers 128-96 from Philly to take a commanding, 3-1 best-of-seven series lead. Out West, the Spurs rallied to dispatch the Trail Blazers 114-93 from Portland to lead their first round matchup by the same advantage. The Rockets avoided a sweep at the hands of the Lakers with a 115-96 win from Houston. Three more games are on the slate for Monday.

(College Station, TX) — Texas A&M now has three five-star commits in the 2027 class. Five-star offensive tackle Kennedy Brown announced his commitment to the Aggies on Sunday. The Texas native chose Texas A&M over other finalists Florida, LSU and Tennessee. Brown is ESPN’s fifth-ranked overall prospect in the cycle and now joins defensive end Zyron Forstall and safety Kamarui Dorsey as five-star pledges that headline the program’s 2027 class.

(Undated) — The Stanley Cup Playoffs continued with four games on Sunday. The Sabres blew out the Bruins 6-1 to take a three games to one lead in their series. The Avalanche completed a sweep of the Kings with a 5-1 victory. The Lightning evened their series with the Canadiens with a 3-2 win north of the border. Ryan Poehling scored in overtime to give the Ducks a 4-3 win over the Edmonton Oilers to take a three games to one lead in that series. The action continues with two games on Monday. The Penguins will host the Flyers for a game five before the Utah Mammoth face off with the Vegas Golden Knights at home in game four of their series.

(Philadelphia, PA) — A young player on the Flyers is facing a difficult reality. Matvei Michkov [[ MAT-vay MICH-kahv ]] didn’t crack the team’s forward group at Sunday’s practice. The 21-year-old could be a healthy scratch when Philly tries to eliminate rival Pittsburgh in Game Five on Monday. Michkov hasn’t recorded a point in the playoffs despite finishing tied for third on the team in regular season scoring with 51 points.

(Avondale, LA) — A couple brothers are celebrating after Matt and Alex Fitzpatrick won the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. The Fitzpatrick brothers finished atop the leaderboard at 31 under par to win the tournament by one stroke. Alex Smalley and Hayden Springer finished tied for second with Kristoffer Reitan and Kris Ventura at 30 under. Defending champions Ben Griffin and Andrew Novak finished tied for 10th at 26 under par.

>>Carson Hocevar Holds Off Chris Buescher To Win Talladega

(Talladega, AL) — Carson Hocevar held off a late push from Chris Buescher to earn a victory at Talladega Superspeedway. The driver of the Number-77 car captured the checkered flag in the Jack Link’s 500 for his first-career NASCAR Cup Series win. Alex Bowman, Chase Elliott and Zane Smith rounded out the top-five finishers. The field heads to Texas Motor Speedway next Sunday for the Wurth 400.
