White County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an active physical domestic call at a residence in Grayville on Thursday night, resulting in the arrest of Donald Currier on multiple domestic battery charges.

According to the affidavit, Currier was allegedly beating an individual, with several people at the residence attempting to intervene. When officers arrived, they observed the victim with visible injuries, including swelling to the cheek and eye, multiple bruises, and a busted lip.
During the encounter, Currier yelled at officers, claiming the victim had cut him. However, witnesses at the scene stated that Currier appeared to have inflicted the injury on himself after law enforcement arrived.

Following a criminal complaint filed by the victim, Currier was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery Strangulation and Domestic Battery Physical Contact. He was transported and lodged in the White County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing, and Currier remains in custody pending a court appearance.
