A 32-year-old man from Mount Vernon has been charged in Wayne County Circuit Court following allegations involving the distribution of a sexual image without consent.
Kyler L. Smith appeared in court Tuesday after his arrest on Monday, April 27th. He is charged with one count of non-consensual dissemination of a sexual image, a Class 4 felony.
Court documents allege Smith possessed and shared a sexually explicit image of an individual on his public Facebook account on or about February 21st.
A Wayne County Grand Jury has issued a true bill of indictment in the case.
Smith has been released with an appearance in Wayne County Circuit Court on May 28th.
