The Edwards County Historical Preservation Society is firing up support for local history with a Smoked Pork Loin Fundraiser, inviting community members to enjoy a savory meal while helping preserve the county’s rich heritage.
Each pork loin is expertly smoked by Smokin Pig and offered for $30, with all proceeds going toward preservation projects throughout Edwards County. The society hopes the event will bring together families and friends for a good cause.
Orders must be placed by June 12th. Order forms should be returned to the COUNTRY Financial office at 1 N 5th St. in Albion. Pick-up will take place on June 19th at the Albion Pagoda between 3 and 5 PM.
To reserve a smoked pork loin, residents can contact any member of the Historical Preservation Society or call Judy Knight at (618) 302-3787.
Funds raised from the event will directly support ongoing efforts to protect and restore landmarks and artifacts that tell the story of Edwards County’s past.
