Samantha “Sam” Coomer of Fairfield has been officially sworn in as the newest Student Trustee for Illinois Eastern Community Colleges.
Coomer is a student at Frontier Community College, where she is studying Early Childhood Education. She is actively involved in Student Senate, the Illinois Student Assistance Commission’s student advisory board (ISAB), and the campus Christian Club.
Coomer said she is passionate about making a difference and looks forward to growing as a leader while representing students across the IECC district.
